Clock

Didactic game “Clock” is a wooden board with rotating hands showing a dial consisting of two circles: the outer shows minutes (blue) and the inside one shows hour s(red). Clocks show both 12 and 24 hour convections. The color of the hands coincides with the color of the circles of the dial: the minute hand is blue, the hour hand is red. On the tablet there are reference notions: “a quarter of an hour”, “a half an hour”, “three quarter of an hour” and “an hour” that correspond to 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes. The kit includes 2 supporting legs and a cord so that the clock may be put on a table or hung on the wall. The game is designed for children of preschool and primary school age. It involves individual or group forms of education in conjunction with educators, parents, and teachers. During the classes, the child gets acquainted with concepts such as minute, hour, time of a day; learns to independently determine the time by the clock. It promotes the development of spatiotemporal perception, thinking, attention as well as coherent speech.
