“Mouse and cheese” game board
Circles of various diameters (10 large circles, 15 medium and 40 small circles) are cut on a game board imitating Swiss cheese. The kit also includes a ‘cheese lover’ mouse which is also a “basket” with a ball or a ring inside. The mouse-basket on two cords is enshrined at the bottom of the panel. Game objective: The mouse should go from the bottom to the top over the entire surface with the holes. While controlling the swiping basket a player should try to not drop a ball or a wooden ring inside the basket.
The panel develops large and small motility, self-control, muscle memory, the ability to control simultaneous and alternating movements of the right and left hands. It as well trains the ability to coordinate joint work and stimulates interhemispheric interaction of the brain functions. The game teaches players to be attentive and collected, develops observation and concentration of attention, the desire to achieve the goal.
Options for training objectives: slow rise of the “mouse” by controlling 2 cords with the right and left hand; raising the “mouse” against clock; “mouse” controlling with only one cord.
